Campers who enroll in the horseback riding program spend 3 hours (AM or PM) with the horses.  1 hour of professional lessons is received each day.  The other two hours are spent learning about horse care, barn care and equipment maintenance.  A favorite activity last summer was the washing and braiding of tails of the horses.  Perfect for first time riders to intermediate.  When not up at the barn campers are merged back into the residential camp program where they participate in one section of electives and all camp activities.
